2003 Big Apple Circus Benefit
The Mount Sinai Children's Center Foundation Big Apple Circus benefit was held on Sunday, November 9, 2003. We would like to thank all donors for your generous contributions to the Circus benefit. With your help, the event was a huge success.

The contributions from The Mount Sinai Children's Center Foundation are used to support projects and programs in pediatrics which would otherwise not be possible. The Foundation enables the pediatric department to address the psychosocial needs of patients during hospitalization and medical treatment. Mount Sinai's pediatric patients stay an average of 7 days, but some children are hospitalized for months and many families cannot sustain a daily visiting schedule over this period of time. Your support enables the pediatric department to provide some comfort to these children in various ways. Examples of our contributions include underwriting the cost of playrooms, KIDS TV closed circuit programming, the visiting clowns from the Big Apple Circus and the reading material through the Reach Out and Read program.

In summary, we want you to know that your support is very important and greatly appreciated. We hope you enjoyed the circus! Thanks again!
