Renovation of Pediatric Floors 4 and 5 Through the efforts of the board of The Mount Sinai Children's Center Foundation, two pediatric patient floors have undergone a $2.2 million renovation. The grand opening of the first completed floor was held on February 5, 2004 and the second completed floor was opened in June 2004. The new rooms, hallways and nurses stations are colorful, modern and cheerful, and have immeasurably improved the environment for patients, their families and our medical staff. Naming opportunities for donors of rooms are still available.
